Announcement
The paper “Learnable Total Variation with Lambda Mapping for Low-Dose CT Denoising” has been accepted to the IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) 2026.
ISBI remains one of the central conference venues in biomedical imaging, so this is an important milestone for the project and for the broader research line it belongs to inside the lab.
The work brings together two directions the lab keeps returning to: physically interpretable reconstruction priors and learned adaptivity. Instead of treating denoising as a fully black-box mapping, the paper keeps the structure of total variation regularization visible while making its strength spatially adaptive through a learnable lambda map.
This acceptance is also an important early academic milestone for the project team, and it marks the transition from internal experimentation to a public conference result.
